Caley English is a Los Angeles based artist interested in objects as mementoes.

Beginning by challenging the social constructs of dining and food as a culturally rich material, her work involves multiples, using objects as a form of record keeping. Material association and multifunction evolves as her work is manipulated, furthering her relationship with process-based work.

English involves herself in multimedia installations, where she includes sound, video, food, and game play to create a space where all senses are provoked. She believes that allowing for audience interaction furthers the investigation of play as a method of community building.
